1:1 Training Session
Get personalised attention and expert guidance for you and your dog with our 1:1 training session. In this session, we will focus on specific behaviours and work on coaching you as the owner on how to better handle your dog. Let's work together to strengthen your bond and create a well-balanced and Controlled Canine.
Day Training
Enroll your pup in our Day Train program and let them spend the day with me and my pack at Controlled Canines. From collection to drop off, your dog will receive tailored training sessions in various environments, including country park walks and structured socialisation.
Board & Train
Give your dog the training they need with our Board & Train service. Your pup will spend a minimum of three weeks with me and my pack, learning the fundamentals of obedience, socialisation, and good manners while enjoying daily country park walks and living as part of our group.

A little about me
Sam Friend
I've always been passionate about dogs ever since I was a young child. I got my first two German Shepherds when I was 19 years old, and that's when my love for dog training truly began. From that moment, I dedicated myself to understanding the unique needs and behaviors of dogs.
My goal is to ensure that owners and their dogs can achieve both freedom and control, and successfully overcome behavioral issues. Whether your dog is reactive, or you need help with lead walking or recall, I can provide the guidance and training necessary to improve your dog's behavior.
I aim to educate owners, helping them to understand how to meet their dogs' needs effectively. By fostering a deeper understanding and connection between you and your dog, we can work together to create a more fulfilling relationship.
